ELIGIBILITY

ARE YOU ELIGIBLE? LETS FIND OUT

Attention all Indian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India! If you plan on pursuing a primary medical qualification from a foreign medical institution after May 2018, brace yourselves! You must qualify the National-Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Admission to MBBS course without fail. This test result shall serve as your Eligibility Certificate for the said pursuit.

But wait, there's more! The NEET result will remain valid for three years from the date of declaration, giving you ample time to pursue an MBBS or equivalent medical course, including any pre-medical or language courses.

It's worth noting that the Medical Council of India previously provided a list of foreign medical institutions and universities for MBBS or equivalent courses. However, the 2018 notification to the Screening Test Regulations has clearly stated that all Indian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India must qualify the prescribed Screening test for obtaining registration in India, regardless of the institution. And let's be clear, the National Medical Commission does not endorse any list of foreign medical institutions or universities for MBBS or equivalent courses.
